陈曦光, 满族,吉林省吉林市人。1959 年毕业于鲁迅美术学院附中， 

1964 年毕业于鲁迅美术学院。中国美术家协会会员、教授、硕士生导师, 享受国务院特殊津贴。曾任教育部艺术教育委员会委员, 吉林省文联副主席、省美协副主席。历任东北师范大学美术系主任、浙江万里学院艺术设计系主任, 吉林动画学院院长、大连东软信息学院数字艺术系主任。 

1995 年获宝钢教育基金“全国优秀教师奖”, 

1999 年获吉林省文联颁发的“世纪艺术金奖” 。长期从事美术教育和版画、水彩画创作, 作品多次入选全国级展览并获奖,有的作品被收藏并入编《中国现代美术全集·水彩卷》、《中国水彩画》、《中国百年水彩画集》、《中国版画家新作选》等,出版有《陈曦光美术作品选集》。多篇学术论文在<美术研究》、《美术》、《中国美术教育》等核心期刊发表。 

1987 年、1997 年两度赴美国讲学并举办个展,1 998 年赴日本仙台讲学并举办画展。同年在韩国举办联展。多件作品在加拿大、马来西亚、新加坡、中国香港等地展出。 

Chen Xi Guang, Manchu, Jilin City, Jilin Province. Graduated from Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts in 1959. 1 Graduated from Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts in 964. Members, professors, and expert’s tutors of the Chinese Artists Association enjoy special allowances from the State Council. He was a member of the Arts Education Committee of the Ministry of Education, vice chairperson of Jilin Provincial Cultural Union and vice chairperson of the provincial American Association. He has served as the head of the Fine Arts Department of Northeast Normal University, the head of the Department of Art and Design of Zhejiang Wanli College, the dean of Jilin Animation College, and the head of the Department of Digital Art of Dalian Dong Luan Information College. 1 995 won the Baosteel Education Fund’s National Outstanding Teacher Award. 1 999 was awarded the “Golden Award for Art of the Century” by Jilin Provincial Cultural Union. Long-term engaged in art education and printmaking, watercolor painting creation, works have been selected for national-level exhibitions and won awards, some works have been collected and incorporated into the compilation of “Chinese Modern Art Collection Watercolor Roll,” “China Watercolor Painting,” “China Centennial Watercolor Painting Collection,” “Chinese Printmaker’s New Selection” and so on, published “Chen Xi Cuang Art Anthology.” Several academic papers have been published in core journals such as < Art Research, Fine Arts, and Chinese Fine Arts Education. 1 987, 1 997 two lectures and a solo exhibition in the United States, 1 998 to Sendai, Japan lecture and exhibition. In the same year, a joint exhibition was held in Korea. Several works are exhibited in Canada, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, and other places.
