Chang Kwang Wee 曾广纬 （Singapore)

Born in 1936 in Chao’an, Guangdong Province, China. When he was tenth,  followed her mother to his father’s business island at Giri, Indonesia, where she completed primary school. At the age of thirteen, he came to Singapore to study at Zhongzheng School. After graduating from high school, he entered the Teacher Training College and trained for two years to become a qualified teacher. His life is tied to calligraphy. He started to learn and practice the Weibei Calligraphy font daily since primary school, from the continuous learning, self-participation and understanding, self-taught, gradually he formed his own font and style.  

1993 to 2003, he served as the president of the Moyuan society for ten years.  

1994, he organized the Lion City Calligraphy Engraving Society with his fellow students. 1996, After retirement teaching calligraphy is his main job. Calligraphy art,  implicit representation, advocating harmony, seeking refinement, rhyming. He is a humble, generous elder. His calligraphy is smooth, rich yet interesting, elegant and generous, a Confucian style. 

1936年出生于中国，广东潮安。 

十岁随母亲来到父亲经商的印尼吉里岛，在那里完成小学教育。十三岁来到新加坡就读中正分校。高中毕业后进入师资训练学院受训两年成为合格教师。一生与书法结缘。从小学开始就每天临摹魏碑体，从不间断的学习，自我参透与体悟，无师自通。日积月累，逐渐形成了自己的书体与风格。 

1993-2003年曾担任墨渊社会长长十年。 

1994年与同道学友组织了狮城书法篆刻会。 

1996年退休后，教书法成为曾先生的专业了。 

书法艺术，重含蓄、崇和谐、求精致、追意韵。他是一位谦和，敦厚的长者。他的书法平稳，厚重但又带韵趣，典雅大方，一派儒者风范。
