Mr. Ge Shu-Qing was born in Fushun City of Liaoning Province in the year 1959; he is a professional stage designer working at Fushun Opera Theatre. Ge is also the Vice President of Fushun Artist Association, as well as a member of The China Artists’ Society (Liaoning Branch) and the China Drama Art Research Group.

Ge Shu-Qing’s oil paintings are full of countryside passion and romance, strong enough to affect his art viewers’ feelings. His art pieces depict countryside living and the beautiful natural environments. Ge successfully manages to express his passion for nature, skillfully capturing the scenic atmosphere prior to transforming them into artistic fantasies on the canvas. His experience has extended oil colours’ properties to the extreme.

Artist Ge Shu-Qing has a successful track record in his artistic career for more than thirty years. His North-Eastern Series Oil Paintings has been seen in numerous art expositions nationwide. 葛书清先生，1959年生于辽宁抚顺市，他是抚顺歌舞话剧团舞台专业设计师，中国美术家协会辽宁分会会员，中国话剧艺术研究会会员，抚顺市美术家协会副主席。

葛书清笔下的油画，不论是构思巧妙的大作或是信手拈来的写生小品，无一不呈现出一种浓重的乡土之情和身临其境的真实感。在显示生活当中，在大自然的怀抱中，他用自己的心灵去感受自然之美，寄情于景，状物抒怀，以梦幻般的艺术效果。若有神秘技法肌理的艺术化画作，使油彩得以升华。葛书清从事油画创作三十余年，取得了可喜可贺的成绩，在全国各类艺术博览会上所展出的东北风光油画作品，形成了独特的艺术语言，备受业内人士关注。现以实力派画家的身份客居北京。
