Gong Xing-Fu was born in Shenyang in 1936. He graduated from the Luxun Academy of Fine Arts in 1961 and was retained as a teacher there to this day.During his schooling period in the Luxun Academy of Fine Arts from 1953-1961, Gong laid down a sturdy foundation under the personal guidance of two famous flower and bird paintings masters Zhao Meng-Zhu and Tian Shi-Guang. Gong became a renowned artist, a professor of the Luxun Academy of Fine Arts, a member of the Chinese Artists Association, a specially invited professor of the Beijing Art Academy of the PLA, and a director of the Liaoning Chinese Traditional Painting Research Council. His art career and art achievements have been selected for inclusion in List of China’s Modern Artists; Dictionary of China’s Modern Famous Figures; Dictionary of International Modern Seal Cutting Artists of Painting and Calligraphy, and other books.

宫兴福教授 1936年出生于沈阳市。1961年毕业于鲁迅美术学院，留校任教至今。拜著名画家赵梦朱教授，田世光教授为师，成为二位艺术大师的入室弟子。专攻工笔花鸟画, 同时研习写意花鸟画，能工善写，充满泥土芳香，饶有新意。多次参加国内外画展，大量作品获奖和被收藏。著名画家宫兴福先生是鲁迅美术学院教授，中国美术家协会会员，北京解放军艺术学院特聘教授，辽宁省中国画研究会理事，个人艺术简历及艺术成就入选《中国当代美术家名人录》《中国当代名人大词典》《国际现书画篆刻家大词典》等多部辞书。
