Mr Ma Xi Guang was born in Lin Yi, Shanxi in 1932, though his ancestral home was in Yan Tai, Shandong. He began to work in 1948. He is now a member of The Artists’ Association of China; Vice-Chairman of Qinghai Sub-Association of The Artists’ Association of China; advisor to Xi’ning Academy of Art; member of the Standing Committee of the Political Consultative Conference of Qinghai Province; and excellent expert of Qinghai Province; and excellent expert of Qinghai Province. He moved to Shenzhen in 1992.

马西光先生  祖籍山东烟台，1932年出生于山西临猜，1948年参加工作 ，现为中国美术家协会会员、美协青海分会副主席 、西宁画院顾问、青海省政协常委、青海省优秀专家。1992年移居深圳市。
